Summer Sunshine

Summer

I so love the Summer! It's always been my favorite season.  I love the warm weather, the sunshine & all fact

that I don't have to wear heavy clothing!  Don't get me wrong, I love all four seasons but I don't like any

extreme type weather.  Call me a Prima-Donna but why endure hardships?  I'm too old for anything that

is not comfortable.

My hubby & two doggies were in North Truro for the 4th of July weekend.  I absolutely love that area.  I'd like to

reinvent myself and become a Kennedy.  Maybe they can adopt me so I can spend my Summers' in Hyannis?

It sounds good!!

Hello Patti,Johnny Gunn here.I've been working, alot up in my studio, affectionately refferred to as the Ammo Room. I'm working on my own album, FINALLY. Aside from performing with Puro Bandido (Latin Rock band out of SF's Mission District) and doing some unplugged shows with some friends at Konocti and Tommy T's, I've been working in various studios with a bunch of different artists. In early February me and my band, The Royal Doggs, backed up Paul Rodgers (Bad Co., Free, Queen), Nils Lofgren (E Street Band), Joe Nichol, Cowboy Troy, Janey Lane (Warrant), Pat Travers and Eric Martin for a pre Super Bowl Party in Scottsdale, AZ. All to benefit Mike Ditka's Charity, Grid Iron Greats.Left there and flew directly to Nashville to co-produce some songs with Eddie Money for his forthcoming CD, The Other Side of Money. We did 4 songs, three of which has Vince Gill on them. People in the biz down there were calling it the Vocal Event of the year because of the vocal arrangements done by me, Tommy Wurth, John Ford Coley and of course Eddie and Vince. I brought Eddie to the Label and my label mate Tommy Wurth brought in Vince. He agreed to do one song with us but the music sounded so good and we were having such a good time he ended up doing two more. Came back from Nashville and started in on a demo with some youngsters out of Brentwood that seriously ROCK. Dissimulated, made up of guys 16-18 year olds with chops of players much older. Then started work on my own material and some songs sent to me by my friends in Nashville. Got to make money right? Thankfully I got some paying clients coming in with songs they've asked me to produce. Takes me away from my own stuff but that's ok, it helps pay the bills. So anyways Patti, that's it in a nutshell. It's all about the music and I'm having a blast doing it. Let me know if you need clarification on this meandering. Thanks,JG
